The service

SignFree lets you fill in and sign PDF documents, and send them to other people to sign. It's free. We may change, limit or stop features, for example to prevent abuse or to keep the service running.

To prevent spam, each sender can send up to 5 documents a day, and files can be up to 20 MB.

Your responsibilities

Only upload documents you're allowed to use, and only send them to people who expect them. Don't use the service for fraud, spam, harassment, impersonation or anything illegal.

You're responsible for the content of your documents and for checking them before you sign or send them. We may remove documents or block senders that break these rules.

Electronic signatures

SignFree creates simple electronic signatures with an audit trail. Under EU law (eIDAS) and in many other countries, these are legally valid for most everyday documents. Some documents, such as wills, property deeds or certain official forms, may require a notary or a qualified electronic signature. It's up to you to decide whether SignFree is suitable for a particular document.

No warranty

SignFree is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copy of important documents: we delete them from our servers after the periods described in the privacy policy.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by documents you create, sign or send with the service. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law.

Law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you live in the EU, you also keep the protection of the consumer law of your country.
