How sending for signature works
It takes a couple of minutes the first time:
- Choose your PDF under "Send it for signing".
- Add each signer's name and email.
- Place signature, text, date and checkbox fields for each signer, and fill in your own parts if you need to.
- Confirm your email with a 6-digit code and press Send.
- Each signer gets an email with a private link, opens the PDF and signs. No account, no app.
- When everyone has signed, all of you get the final PDF by email.
A signature certificate with every document
The final PDF includes a certificate page that records who signed, when, from which IP address, and a SHA-256 fingerprint of the original and the signed file. If anyone ever asks whether the document was changed after signing, the fingerprint answers it.

"My documents" lists everything you've sent. Open a document to see who has opened it, who has signed and when, and download the signed PDF once it's complete.
Free, with honest limits
Sending is free, with no trial. To keep SignFree from being used for spam, you can send up to 5 documents a day, files can be up to 20 MB, and you confirm your email before your first send.
Documents are stored encrypted on EU servers only while they're needed: they're deleted 30 days after everyone signs, or after 60 days if they're never completed.
